Welcome to our online store! The following terms and conditions are applicable to all transactions carried out through this website. We have the right to review and modify these conditions at any time. You will be subject to the conditions in force at the time you place each order. Possible changes will not affect orders for which you already have a confirmation. By placing an order through this website, you guarantee that you are of legal age and that you accept the conditions mentioned hereinafter.

These conditions are important to both you and us, since they have been designed to create a legally binding agreement between us, protecting your rights as a customer and our rights as a company. You declare that, by placing your order, you have read and accept these conditions, so if you do not agree with them, you should not place an order.

 

1 HANDMADE PRODUCTS, UNIQUE PIECES

ADORNO BCN objects are made by hand and with natural and/or recycled materials, so the final appearance and measurements of the products may vary between the different products of the same series and with respect to the one that appears on the website.

If you need all the products you purchase to have a specific aspect and/or dimensions, please contact us before making the purchase.

In the case of numbered pieces and/or unique pieces, the object that is purchased is specifically the one in the photo.

 

2 DELIVERY TIMES: MANUFACTURE ON REQUEST & STOCKS

Almost all our objects are manufactured to order, an approximate manufacturing period is specified for each product in the online store.

We will try to ship the order for the product(s) listed in the Shipment Confirmation within a reasonable period of time and, if possible, even before the delivery date that appears in the Shipment Confirmation. However, delivery dates are not fully guaranteed, as there may be extraordinary and unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control.

In the products in which we have a small stock, we indicate the quantity in the corresponding section in the online store.

For products in stock, we take between 24 and 48 hours to properly prepare the package and process the shipment with the carrier.

You will be able to track the orders sent using the shipping number assigned by the carrier, which we will provide you together with the link to the carrier’s website and your purchase invoice.

Delivery times are understood to be referenced in working days, from Monday to Friday, except holidays.

 

3 VAT

The prices on the website include current VAT.

 

4 EXPENSES AND SHIPPING CONDITIONS

The prices on the website do not include shipping costs, which will be added to the total amount due. Our delivery conditions are EXW, therefore, you will have to bear all the costs and risks of the transport.

The total amount of your order will be the result of the price of the products included in your purchase, plus the delivery cost applicable in each case. All these details will be clearly indicated in your purchase list before you have formalized the payment. The ownership of all the products and the power to recover them, belongs to ADORNO BCN until full payment of the invoice amount has been received, including shipping costs. Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (never after) we have accepted your order.

We carefully and conscientiously pack each shipment so that it arrives in perfect condition at its destination. Some products must be partially or totally disassembled for shipment. In this case you will receive detailed assembly instructions.

The transport company delivers all orders to the door of the street, if you need an extra service you will have to negotiate it directly with them.

We use the shipping unification policy: we will make one shipment per purchase, once all the products purchased are available. If you prefer to receive the products in stock first and then the products manufactured to order, please make 2 different purchases: one with the products in stock and the other with the products that we will manufacture for you.

Once the shipment has been processed with the transport company, we will send you an e-mail with the shipment number and the web link where to track it.

 

5 CANCEL AN ORDER

You can cancel your order within a maximum period of 48 hours from its formalization through our online store and always before the shipment is made or the manufacturing process of the manufactured products has started.

In case of cancellation of the order, you will be refunded the amount paid by the same means of payment used to make the purchase.

 

6 RECEIVING THE ORDER

It is very important that when you receive the order you examine the package/s and check that everything is in perfect condition.

It is an essential condition that at the time of receipt of the merchandise you indicate, on the delivery note that is signed to the carrier, any incident that may exist regarding the condition of the merchandise, the packaging or the number of packages.

It is also essential that you communicate this incident to us by email within a maximum period of 24 hours from receipt of the material.

 

7 RETURNS

RETURNS OF DEFECTIVE OR WRONG PRODUCTS

If you have received a damaged or defective product or if you have received a wrong product, different from the one you had requested, you should contact us immediately (within 24 hours of receiving the product) by sending an email to adorno@adornobcn.com providing the product data, as well as the damage or defect it suffers (if applicable). All claims must be notified officially and in writing, mentioning the relevant data, including the order and invoice number and attaching photos that document the damage or defect of the product, in whose defect or absence, any claim is considered inadmissible.

Given the handmade nature of the products, slight differences between the images on the web and the product sent, or between the different units received, in shades, intensities, textures and/or shapes will not be considered defects. If an item is damaged by improper use, it will not be considered damaged or defective.

In the event that the claim is accepted, our liability is limited to the replacement of the defective or erroneous product or, if this is not possible, to the refund of the amount of the defective product.

The shipping costs, both for the replacement products that we send you, and for the return by you of the defective or erroneous products are paid and managed by us. We will not accept postage due without prior authorization from us.

RETURNS OF NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS IN STOCK (WITHDRAWAL)

You have the right to change your mind (right of withdrawal).

Returns will be accepted within a maximum period of 5 (five) days from receipt of the merchandise. After this period, no returns will be accepted.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify it by sending an email to adorno@adornobcn.com with your decision to withdraw from the contract through an unequivocal statement. In the email you must specify your customer and contact details, the code of the product to be returned and the corresponding invoice number. You can use the model withdrawal form that appears below, although its use is not mandatory.

ADORNO BCN must give its consent to proceed. The acceptance of exchanges or returns is conditional on our receiving the returned products, unused and in perfect condition. The products must be returned in the original packaging, adequately protected and with the accompanying documentation.

In case of withdrawal, you will have to assume the direct cost and responsibility for the return of the goods, sending it by transport agency freight prepaid.

If once the returned items have been received, they are not properly wrapped or have suffered any damage in the return process or all their components have not been returned, we reserve the right to apply a charge to the amount to be returned as a return of the product for sale.

If the products were manifestly used, the return cannot take place.

The refund will be made on the same credit card that was used to pay for the purchase, except for transportation costs. The estimated time for the refund will be 14 days from the receipt of the returned products.

RETURNS OF NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS MADE TO ORDER

As it is personalized material, designed and manufactured expressly for you, returns are not accepted.

 

8 INCORRECT PRICES

In the event that a product is listed with an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the contract. If you decide to cancel an order for which you have already paid, after having received the information about an error in the prices, we will fully refund the amount you have paid as soon as possible (and always within 5 business days following the cancellation). Under these circumstances, you will not have the right to claim any other type of compensation regarding the damages that this fact may have caused you.

 

9 WARRANTY

Our products have an official guarantee of 2 years from the date of the invoice.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects, not those caused by misuse or maintenance. Logically, it does not cover those materials subject to wear and tear, nor the normal evolution of natural materials such as, for example, changes in wood.
